Going Virtual in Spring 2021
UNC’s favorite strategic communications competition is back… with a virtual twist!
Like most things this year, Crash Campaign has moved online, but this doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on the Crash experience. The event will take place February 26-28, 2021, and registration is open NOW through February 5th!
And if you’re interested in being one of our clients, our client application is open now through January 20th!
Everything will be virtual, including orientation, teamwork time (but don’t worry, we’re NOT going to make you be on a 24-hour Zoom call), pitches, and networking. Learn more about the virtual event here.
Crash Campaign is a student-led, fast-paced marketing and communications competition for undergraduates hosted by the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Students are able to participate in a unique professional opportunity that allows them to gain experience and showcase their talent. Teams compete to come up with marketing and communications solutions for local businesses and nonprofits, conducting research, developing a strategy, and creating a campaign within 24 hours.
Once the time is up, teams will pitch their marketing strategy to their clients and industry professional judges. Winners receive a cash prize. Crash Campaign concludes with a networking event immediately following the competition.
